ABSTRACT: Recent measurements of CP asymmetries at B factories precisely determined the phase of the CKM matrix in the standard model (SM). But this phase is not enough to generate the observed baryon asymmetry of the universe and new sources of CP violation are expected to exist in the high energy physics beyond the SM. Electric Dipole Moments (EDMs) is very useful tool for probing the CP violation in the new physics. In the SM EDMs are generated only through higher loop diagrams and highly suppressed. On the other hand new physics expected around TeV scale tend to induce too large EDMs in general. Especially for the suprsymmetric standard models (SUSY SMs) this is called SUSY CP problem which need to be solved to construct viable models. In this seminer I would like to explain how we can use EDMs to probe the structure of SUSY SMs. Especially I introduce SUSY SMs with Dirac gaugino masses as a framework to solve SUSY CP problem and also explain that the EDM can become very useful to probe the flavor structure of the SUSY SMs.
