ABSTRACT: |
The discovery of integrability in the string/gauge duality has enabled us to explore the duality beyond supersymmetric sectors. Now a set of equations (all-order Bethe equations) is proposed to obtain the full spectrum of the string/gauge theory for any value of the coupling (in a certain limit). A phase called the dressing phase plays a key role in this set of equations. We propose the physical vacuum of the bare integrable model underlying the string/gauge duality. We then show that the dressing phase proposed in the literature can be derived by directly computing the scattering phase of the fundamental excitations over the physical vacuum, clarifying the physical meaning of the dressing phase. |
