ABSTRACT: |
I will talk about recent progress on supersymmetry breaking in a meta-stable
vacuum. I t seems that supersymmetry breaking with meta-stable vacua is
quite generic and that gauge mediation models arise naturally and simply in
string theories. The genericity and the simplicity suggest that our universe
is in a meta-stable vacuum. To demonstrait the genericity I would like to
talk about meta-stable vacua in perturbed Seiberg-Witten Theories. I will
show you that, for a generic choice of a point on the Coulomb branch of any
N=2 supersymmetric gauge theory, it is possible to find a superpotential
perturbation which generates a metastable vacuum at the point. |
