ABSTRACT: The renowned model of holographic QCD, the Sakai-Sugimoto model, suffers from a famous problem of massless-ness of the quarks. I present a way to introduce the quark mass to the model, and show the pion/quark mass relation and chiral condensate of the model. Interestingly, those masses are generated by worldsheet instantons with additional D-branes which breaks the chiral symmetry explicitly. The idea originates in D-brane version of extended technicolor.
