TITLE: |
Large Primordial Non-Gaussianity from early Universe |
ABSTRACT: |
The temperature fluctuations of the cosmic microwave background is thought to include various information on the early Universe. Among them, non-Gaussianity of the primordial fluctuations are interesting since it will provide powerful ways to constrain early Universe models. For example, the detection of large non-Gaussianity would mean that the simplest models of inflation are rejected. In this seminar, I will consider Ekpyrotic scenario and DBI inflation models as concrete examples which produce large primordial non-Gaussianities and proposed based on string/M theory. I will will explain how large non-Gaussianity is obtained in these models and summarize the present status on these models. |
