ABSTRACT: We present an extended one-dimensional analysis of the N=4 superconformal mechanics coupled to n cpies of N=8, d=1 vector supermultiplets. It is shown that the N=4 superconformal symmetry completely fixes the resulting action. We demonstrate that the electric and magnetic charges, present in the "effective black hole" action, appear as a result of solving the constraints on the auxiliary components of the vector supermultiplets. We also present the full component action with all fermionic included.
