    Weather alert 'typhoon'

Another powerful typhoon is approaching now. This is one of the most powerful ones with very strong wind and heavy rain.
Kanto area ( including Tsukuba and Tokai ) will experience very rough weather. So, watch weather forecast.

The moving speed of the typhoon #19 is somewhat slowing down so that it is a bit early to say when we would encounter
the worst condition, but I would say on Saturday (Oct. 12th) whole day to be the worst period, possibly extending into Sunday.
What you should be aware of is cancellations of all kinds of transportation including airlines and trains. Many trains will not run.
I would not recommend to go out during the coming weekend ( and possibly next Monday when some transportation may not
be able to restore running condition.) Obviously, umbrellas will not work under strong wind condition. The wind velocity could
reach 40 to 75 meters(peak) per second which you could be blown away. (Note: 50m/sec is equivalent to 180km/hour. )
Many shops could be closed. So, get what you would need today.
