The 4th Asian Summer School and Symposium on Laser-plasma Acceleration and Radiation
The 4th Asian Summer School and Symposium on Laser-plasma Acceleration and Radiation (ASS&S 2009) will be held in Taiwan during Aug. 17-21, 2009. This year, the Summer School and Symposium is co-hosted by the National Tsinghua University (NTHU) and National Synchrotron Radiation Research Center (NSRRC) in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
The Summer School is an important annual event for the Asia Intense Laser Network and, for the first time, a symposium is added to it. This unique arrangement provides an opportunity for both scholars and students to discuss and learn important issues in this research field. This event is organized and lead by Professor Yen-Chieh Huang of NTHU- Department of Electrical Engineering, and Dr. Gwo-Huei Luo, Deputy Director of the NSRRC.
