The Sixteenth meeting of the KEKB Accelerator Review Committee was held

The Sixteenth meeting of the KEKB Accelerator Review Committee was held on February 7-9, 2011. This was the first meeting since SuperKEKB was formally approved and funded, so the Committee has been expanded to include experts from all around the world who came to KEK to help make the project a success. The members of the Committee, who braved a rare snowfall for this photograph, are (from left to right) John Fox (SLAC), Yoko Hayashi (KEK), Kazunori Akai (KEK), Katsunobu Oide (KEK), David Rice (Cornell University), John Seeman (SLAC), Bob Rimmer (JLab), Andrew Hutton (Chair, JLab), Frank Zimmerman (CERN), Oswald Gröbner (CERN, retired), Zhao Zhentang (SINAP), Won Namkung (POSTECH), Kem Robinson (LBNL), Gwo-Huei Luo (NSRRC), Evgeny Perevedentsev (BINP), Alex Chao (SLAC), and Atsushi Enomoto (KEK). There are two other members of the Committee: Stuart Henderson (FNAL) who was unable to attend this meeting and Haruyo Koiso (KEK).
