Three researchers of ACCL have received Outstanding Referee Award since 2009

American Physical Society (APS) has started Outstanding Referee Program since 2008 to recognize scientists who have been exceptionally helpful in assessing manuscripts for publication in the APS journals. About 150 scientists are nominated in each year among more than 60,000 referees. At KEK Accelerator Laboratory (ACCL), Prof. Kazuhito Ohmi (2008), Prof. Kaoru Yokoya (2009), and Director Katsunobu Oide (2014) have been awarded so far. The total number of recipients are 1,598 since 2008, and among 30 are from Japan. We think this is a good form of contribution from KEK-ACCL to beam physics and accelerator science. (K. Oide)
