Applied Research Laboratory
KEK Applied Research Laboratory consists of four centers, Radiation Science Center, Computing Research Center, Cryogenics Science Center, and Mechanical Engineering center. The laboratory performs research activities of health physics, radiation detectors, radiochemistry, environmental preservation, computing science, superconductivity and cryogenics, and precision machining technics for the purpose of supporting the large accelerator facility operation, research, and users. The laboratory gives business services of radiation and chemical safety, computing and network, liquid helium, and machining.
