Acceleration of 3.5-GeV positron beams succeeded in the injector linac! Positron beams at energy of 3.5 GeV were successfully accelerated on 15 June, 1998 following the successful acceleration of 8-GeV electron beams in April,1998. The injector linac has been upgraded for full energy injection to the KEK B Factory storge rings (8-GeV electrons, 3.5 GeV positrons).
