The Committee for the Selection of Director General of KEK has been discussing the candidate of the next Director General whose term will begin April 2009, and makes a decision that Professor Atsuto Suzuki, the present Director General, is the candidate recommended by this committee.
 
Term of service : 3 years from the 1st of April, 2009
 
(Note) Director General will be appointed by Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology by the application based on this decision.
