[Violoncello] Ayumu Kuwata

 In 1965, Ayumu KUWATA was born in Tsuchiura city, Ibaraki. Started the violin at age of three and the violoncello at age of eight, given instruction by his father, Akira Kuwata. After graduating from Tokyo College of Music Hish School, entered its special course in 1984. Had studied in Vienna since 1987. Came back to Japan in 1991, and has actively had many recitals and appeared on various programs of television and radio. Since 1999 has played at NHK Symphony Orchestra. So far has released four CDs as a member of "La Quartina", a group composed cello players of NHK Symphony Orchestra.


[Piano] Makiko Asakawa

 In 1981, Makiko Asakawa was born in Tokyo. Started the piano at age of five. After graduating from the piano course of Toho Gakuen School of Music in 2004, has been awarded many prizes at various competitions and passed many auditions.
 She is a greatly promising pianist not only a solist but chamber musician.


All concerts in the series are open to the public and admission free. We may however restrict the number of attendants due to the limited seating capacity of the hall.
