[Piano] Jun Matsuoka

 Jun Matsuoka started playing the piano at age of ten years. After graduating from the instrumental department of the Tokyo National University of Music and Fine Arts, he entered graduate school of the same university. Since 1993, he studied for two years at Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Hungary. He is the first Japanese pianist that was awarded the first place at Brahms International Competition of Music. In 2003 he was invited to "Modern Musical Festival" held in Kiev. Now he teaches at Showa College of Music and Tokyo National University of Fine Arts & Music.



All concerts in the series are open to the public and admission free. We may however restrict the number of attendants due to the limited seating capacity of the hall.
