感謝の手紙 vol.1

私は総合研究大学院大学（総研大）博士（後期）課程3年次編入の3年生です。 私の研究のトピックは、“国際リニアコライダーのためのデジタル底電力RF制御系の開発”です。

まず、ここに、私がKEK 奨学金を得ることにより、私に総研大で学び、可能性を与えて下さった皆様に 深く御礼を申し上げます。私が総研大で学ぶ機会を持つことがどれほど感謝であるか、言葉で言い表すことができません。 また、総研大とKEKを紹介して下さった先生、さらに、私の研究を常にSupportし、励まして下さっている指導教員の先生に感謝を申し上げます。 私をいつもhelpして下さるKEK Sokendaiの方々にも感謝しております。

数年前に遡りますが、私は、日本での学業を終えた友人によってある先生を紹介していただきました。 そして、加速器技術を理解するために2週間KEKを訪問するオファーをいただきました。私の専門は電子工学ですので、 それは私にとってとても素晴らしい経験であり、本当に新鮮なものでした。KEKは研究環境が整い、新しい研究の場は私にとって挑戦ですので、 KEKで研究をすることに興味があります。

日本、特に総研大で学ぶ機会を得ることは本当に素晴らしいと思います。ここで、加速器技術の多くの面を学ぶことができます。 私の周りの方々も素晴らしく、とても協力的です。誰もがここで研究する良い機会を持てるわけではありませんし、 私にとって本当に素晴らしい経験となっています。

総研大修了後は、私は、籍を置く、ガダマダ（Gadjah Mada）大学の機関で、私の研究を続けます。 そして、さらに総研大とKEKとの共同研究ができればと願っております。ありがとうございました。

Appreciation to the KEK scholarship donators

I am third year doctoral student at Accelerator Science Department of SOKENDAI. My research topic is digital Low-Level Radio Frequency control system for accelerator.

First of all, I would like to use this opportunity to express my deep gratitude to all of you who give me a possibility to study at SOKENDAI by offering me the KEK scholarship. I cannot express how grateful I am to have the opportunity to study at SOKENDAI. I also want to thank my supervisor who introduced me to the SOKENDAI and KEK, another my supervisor who always gives me constant support and encouragement during my study. I thank all SOKENDAI staffs who always help me.

A few years back, I was introduced to a supervisor by my friend who had finished his study in Japan and I was offered to be in KEK for two-week visit to understand accelerator technology. It was an amazing experience and completely new for me because my background is electrical engineering. I am interested to do the research at KEK because KEK has very good research environment and the new research field is challenging for me. It is really great to have a chance studying in Japan, especially at SOKENDAI. Here, I can gain much knowledge about many aspects of accelerator technology. All the people around me are amazing and very helpful. This is really nice experience for me, not everyone can have this good chance to study here.

After graduate from SOKENDAI, I will continue my research at my institution in Indonesia, Gadjah Mada University. I hope I can still have research collaboration with SOKENDAI and KEK. Thank you very much!
