Natsuko Uemura Harpsichord Recital

Historical Development of the Harpsichord Music
-- from Baroque to Modern --

Harpsichord (Cembalo in Italian, Clavecin in French) had been the prime keyboard instrument from baroque era in the western music before the pianoforte appeared. In this recital, we follow the development of the harpsichord music, with some supplementary comments to the pieces played, from the French baroque court music in seventeenth century through the works of Bach and Mozart up to the modern music.
