I have been conducting fundamental research in low-temperature physics, with key topics including helium, nuclear magnetism, superfluidity, monolayer films, graphite/graphene, two-dimensional electron systems, adiabatic demagnetization cooling, dilution refrigeration, and scanning tunneling microscopy/spectroscopy.

Research Content

Recently, I am interested in continuous cooling techniques from a few millikelvin to the sub-millikelvin range and in measurement techniques at such ultra-low temperatures, particularly in the development of particle detectors.
