In November 2021, the KEK Institute of Particle and Nuclear Studies（IPNS) and the JAXA Institute of Space and Astronautical Science (ISAS) signed a memorandum of cooperation for the cosmic microwave background polarisation observation mission, LiteBIRD, which is a planned strategic large class project. Along with the launch of QUP, The QUP joined in the agreement on 23rd of March.

On April 7, 2022, ISAS Director General KUNINAKA Hitoshi, Deputy Director General FUJIMOTO Masaki, Program Director SATO Eiichi, Research Director YOSHIDA Tetsuya and the Director of the Program Office UENO Shiro visited the facilities and laboratories at QUP and spoke about the further cooperation with us.
