The International Center for Quantum-field Measurement Systems for Studies of the Universe and Particles (QUP) at KEK will host the symposium "QUPosium2023" in Tsukuba, Japan, from Dec. 11 (Mon) to Dec. 13 (Wed.)

QUPosium2022 was held for the first anniversary of the establishment of QUP in December last year. The theme of the second symposium, QUPosium2023, is "Approaching the Five Mysteries of the Universe with New Eyes.”

  ■What drives inflation and causes accelerated expansion of early Universe?
  ■Why is there more matter than antimatter in the Universe?
  ■What are the fundamental properties of neutrinos?
  ■What is the nature of dark matter?
  ■What is dark energy that causes accelerated expansion in late Universe?

The conference will consist of presentations by QUP researchers, invited speakers, and poster presentations. There is the possibility of travel support for a limited number of poster presenters.
