The 3rd KEK Student Day held in KEK

The 3rd KEK Student Day was held on October 25, 2016 at KEK Tsukuba campus.
This event provides an opportunity for all graduate students studying at KEK to meet once a year.
KEK hosts over one hundred graduate students of various universities including those of SOKENDAI.
Each student presented his/her research at oral and poster sessions, that were followed by a panel discussion session entitled "Research experiences in abroad," in which foreign students from Asian countries and Japanese students exchanged the experiences about their research and life.

The students actively joined the sessions to learn the research activities in the various fields of science. Maybe more importantly, it provided an opportunity to get to know each other beyond their own group or lab.

Seventy-six students gave poster or oral presentations. Distinguished presentations were awarded the "Director General Award of KEK Student Day". The Award went to three students. Head of the winners is Mr. KUMARA ASHISH （SOKENDAI）. They received honorable certificates and gift from Dr. Yasuhiro Okada, Executive Director of KEK.
