Open Innovation Promotion Department

One of KEK's main social missions as an inter-university research institute corporation is to return innovative knowledge / skills and research results to society. Another approach we have is to make KEK's academic resources/infrastructure available to the general public. For KEK knowledge transfer, especially for young researchers / engineers / students, we offer several unique internship programs and various educational programs. Then, in order to strengthen KEK's innovation seeds that utilize scientific research results, we have established an open innovation promotion department to function as a gateway for accessing researchers and intellectual property from the outside. And another role is to make KEK more diverse by connecting innovation platforms and industrial consortiums.
