I am a theoretical physicist at the LBNL studying particle physics phenomenology. I am fascinated by the dark matter search as an intersection of many fields, including particle physics, cosmology, condensed matter physics, quantum sensing technologies, and so on.

Research Content

I am interested in the direct detection of light dark matter. Depending on the mass and interaction of dark matter candidates, the local dark matter population around us may induce different types of excitations in different condensed matter systems. So far, I have paid particular attention to spin excitations, which are useful for sensing the effective electromagnetic field induced by light bosonic dark matter. I am now excited to consider potential applications of quantum sensing techniques to explore a broader dark matter mass range and to improve sensitivity.
