I received Ph.D degree through research on a search for a new particle using a high-finesse optical cavity and a pulsed magnet. I am now working on the J-PARC muon g-2/EDM experiment, focusing on muon cooling and the development of a high-energy UV laser.

Research Content

My research project involves an application of quantum sensors to experiments related to accelerators. For example, in the muon g-2/EDM experiment, an evaluation of small magnetic field or electric field is crucial during the initial acceleration of slow muon or storage of accelerated muon. Quantum sensing could be useful for the precise evaluation of such weak field. Not limited to this example, I would like to contribute to accelerator experiments and novel particle physics experiment using quantum sensors.
