The "ML at HEP workshop" was held in a hybrid format at the Kobayashi Hall of the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK) in February 23-24, 2023.

The workshop was chaired by Prof. Yu Nakahama, QUP PI, and aimed to provide an overview of state-of-the-art machine learning applications to high-energy physics and related fields and to discuss directions in the development of machine learning and artificial intelligence technologies. As an extension of a local workshop held in July 2022, the workshop had lectures by world-class researchers in machine learning, as well as active discussions with researchers considering applications in other related fields, such as accelerators and data science.
