On October 26th, the second QUP Synergy Summit (QSS2) was held at QUP research satellite in Toyota Central R&D Labs., Inc. (TCRDL)/ Aichi Prefecture.

This summit serves as an open platform for seed-need matching between QUP/KEK and industry partners, based on the WPI's mission of "Values for the Future: Societal Value of Basic Research." QUP plans to support the alignment between academia and industry through a series of topic meetings and information sharing.

Approximately 30 people participated in the second meeting. After summarizing the first meeting and sharing updates on subsequent developments, Professor Hashimoto, Masanori from Kyoto University, Graduate School of Informatics was invited to speak on "Cosmic-ray-induced Soft Errors and Activities at QASS." This was followed by exchanges of ideas aimed at addressing further challenges. We plan to continue holding regular meetings and addressing various topics in the future.
