The KEK Alliance Promotion Department and the WPI-QUP Strategy Office will hold a lecture in English entitled "KEK KAKENHI Writing Seminar - Let's Prepare an Effective Research Story for Your Proposal" for early career scientists who are planning to apply for KAKENHI (due in September this year). It will first provide an overview of KAKENHI and its review system, followed by an introduction to effective storytelling that incorporates the reviewer's perspective when preparing a research proposal.

Makoto Shida (URA of WPI-ASHBi Research Acceleration Unit, Kyoto University), a highly regarded lecturer on this subject, will be invited to KEK Tsukuba Campus. This seminar will be held in person at the Tsukuba Campus.
