WPI-QUP hosted QUPosium2024

QUPosium2024 was held at Tsukuba International Congress Center (Tsukuba, Ibaraki Prefecture, Japan) from December 9th to 11th, 2024.

QUPosium is an international symposium organized annually by WPI-QUP. As the third symposium of this series, world-leading researchers gathered with a theme: “Quantum Field Searches with Quantum Measurement and Sensing.”

The talks covered the major explorations in modern physics, such as the dark matter problem, new particle searches such as axions, and detections of gravitational waves in various wavelengths. They also covered the development of cutting-edge measurement instruments such as diamond sensors, superconducting transition edge sensors, and laser interferometers to provide tools to solve the problems. These topics are well aligned with QUP’s research to bring new “eyes” to humanity. During the three-day symposium, lively discussions were held related to quantum sensing technology and discovering new quantum fields.
