The 9th Japan-Taiwan Joint Meeting on Neutron and X-ray Scattering meeting is going to be held from January 28th to 30th, 2026 at High Energy Accelerator Research Organization (KEK), Tsukuba, Japan.
This meeting has been held bilaterally in Japan and Taiwan for presenting and discussing the frontier research relating to the applications of synchrotron X-ray and neutron scattering to the studies of bio-materials, soft-materials and nano-materials. In addition, we will also discuss the promotion of the collaboration between Taiwan and Japan based on the synchrotron X-ray facility in Hsinchu, Taiwan and the neutron scattering facilities as well as the synchrotron facilities in Japan.
Originally, the 9th meeting was scheduled to be held at Kyushu University in 2020, but it was postponed due to the pandemic. This time, it will be a commemorative meeting held after a hiatus of over five years. We hope this conference will provide an opportunity to renew old friendships and foster new collaborative research initiatives.
