BL-11A and BL-11B are dedicated beamlines for research and development of synchrotron radiation science that allow flexible experimental arrangements. The beamlines can accommodate a special arrangement in which two types of beams, BL-11A (hard X-ray) and BL-11B (soft X-ray), are simultaneously irradiated to a sample, and a feasibility study of synchrotron radiation multi-beam experiments is planned. Construction is currently underway with plans to begin using it in late 2025.
