I belong to KEK-iCASA (Innovation Center for Applied Superconducting Accelerators) and work on development of superconducting accelerator and superconducting RF (SRF) cavity.
Research Content
KEK-iCASA SRF group has been developing two SRF accelerators. One is STF-2 accelerator, which is a prototype of ILC. The feature of STF-2 is high gradient operation and pulsed beam operation, whose specification is same with ILC. Another is Compact ERL accelerator, which can operate high quality CW beam with energy recovery mode. Target is to realize high current operation of FEL generation and high intensity irradiation experiments. We would like to contribute to QUP using superconducting technology developed for the accelerator.
