Electric Power and Water Supply Cut Off (July 30-August 1)

For annual maintenance work, electric power and water supply will be cut off from July 30 to Aug. 1.
We hope this will not cause you too much trouble.
Please see below for details.
We would appreciate your understanding.
Please note that dormitory and apartments are taken care differently using emergency backup power
generator.
Please be considerate to refrain from using equipment that would consume relatively high electric
power as much as possible.
The electric power will be cut off for the duration for the switching over works between normal
power line and the emergency power line.
1.Electric Power Cut Off
・July 30 (Fri.) ----- 8:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. KEKB Area and PF-AR Area
・July 31 (Sat.) and August 1 (Sun.)
----- 8:30 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. Whole Area of KEK
(excluding Dormitory and Apartments)
2.Electric Power Cut Off in Dormitory and Apartments
・July 31 (Sat.)----- 8:30 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.
・August 1 (Sun.)----- 8:00 a.m.- 8:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.
3.Water Supply Cut Off at Central・South Area (including Dormitory and Apartments)
・July 31 (Sat.)----- 8:30 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.
・August 1 (Sun.)----- 8:30 a.m.- 9:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.
From next year and beyond, the regular electrical inspection will conducted on the fixed days(Friday to Sunday):
The first Sunday of August is set so as to be the third day of the inspection.
(Be aware!）
1) Please mind your equipment that could be affected by the power cut off.
2) KEK telephone system will function, but elevators cannot be used during the blackout.
3) Please do not use toilet where and when water supply is cut off.
