Utilization of Liquid Helium
a. |
If a research and experiment group requires liquid helium, please apply on User Support System |
b. |
The experiment group needs to prepare a liquid helium dewar and bring it to the Cryogenic Science Center(Bldg. No.2) one day before being supplied. If the container has been left at td13M temperature, please pre-cool it down with liquid nitrogen beforehand.
Liquid helium can be supplied between Tuesday and Friday excluding holidays. |
c. |
Liquid helium can be supplied between Tuesday and Friday excluding holidays. |
d. |
An electric car is available to transport the dewar. Please utilize the car after applying to Messrs. Sugawara, Iida, Tanaka, or Ohata, each of whom can be reached on 029-864-5463. |
e. |
Please try not to leak the gas because liquid helium is very important resource. |
f. |
Please handle with care of the liquid helium dewar because it does not have a strong underlying structure. |
Utilization of Liquid Nitrogen
a. |
Liquid nitrogen can be transferred from the liquid nitrogen tank (CE) at the Cryogenic Science Center (Bldg. No.1). To open the gate to access CE, please use your ID card. |
b. |
Please measure the transferred amount of liquid nitrogen on the weighing machine, and record the amount. Do not use an out-of-date container. |
c. |
Please contact, first, to above 4 engineers to get consulting. |
Others
|
