 square1 Reservation

  Before you make a dormitory reservation, you must have your KEK User Registration completed in
the User Support System. KEK dormitory reservation accepts reservation only within 45 days prior
to your arrival. 

 square1 In case of Change or Cancellations  

  If it is necessary to change the dates or cancel your planned visit to KEK, please make respective
changes yourself from your portal site before coming. After arrival to KEK, please inform the Users
Office directly or by e-mail asap. 

Cancellation for KEK accommodation must be made at least one day before your occupancy. You will be required to pay full charge if you fail to do so.

 square1 Dormitory

   KEK dormitory consists of 203 rooms in four buildings (No. 1 - No. 4).

   You can receive your room key from the dormitory superintendent office when you check in
   between 4:00 PM and 10:00 PM. You may reach him on ext. 5574 or PHS 2920. Please bring your
   print out of the Reservation Confirmation Sheet. If you arrive after 10:00 PM, your room key will
   be at the Information Center (Guards Office).

Please check out by 10:00 AM. If you need to stay the room bit longer afer 10:00 AM, please ask
   a superintendent of dormitory (029-864-5574) about that.
   When you check out, please return the room key into the return-box which is in front of the
   janitor room.

  Circle_gLodging yukata
  Please read carefully the "Dormitory Guide" provided in your room. You will find a bath and face towels, Yukata (informal cotton kimono), hair dryer, body-soap and
There is NO face-soap, shaver, toothpaste or toothbrush in the room. You can buy them in the KEK grocery.
If you need extra blankets, please contact the superintendent. Smoking, cooking and eating are prohibited in all guest rooms.

   There are kitchens, lounges, laundry rooms in each building and there is shower-room pdf in
   common Bldg. Vending machines are located along the hallway to Bldg.# 2.
   There is hair dryer in washrooms, body soap, shampoo+conditioner in the common bathroom area
   and the common shower room.
   You can buy frozen foods, instant noodles, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Coin-lockers
   are for a specific use, only so please do not use them for long periods of time.

  Circle_gPayment for accommodation
   You can make a payment by cash or credit card in the Users Office. We accept VISA, Master, JCB,
   American Express and Debit cards. If you apply for travel expenses and reserve accommodation
   simultaneously, the accommodation charge will be deducted from the travel expenses provided,
   meaning you do not need to come to our Office (domestic Users, only).   Users from abroad get
   their travel support in cash, and dormitory charge is not deducted. Foreign Users are expected to
   make the payments at the Users Office.
   Please confirm from your portal site, if you are eligible for the support/reimbursment.

   All those Users check out during holidays, who are not able to make a room payment at the Users
   Office, will be allowed to make a payment to a superintendent at the dormitory. Cash or Credit
   cards can be accepted.
   (Paying to a superintendent is for a special case when it is difficult to pay at the Users Office, we
   would like to ask you to pay at the Users Office as much as possible when you start staying during

    ・Who qualifies: Users check out on weekend or holiday
    ・Service hours: 8:30 – 22:00 (Sat. Sun. and Holiday) 

   Dormitories are closed from December 28 to January 3. 
   During your stay, please try not to interfere the privacy of other Users. Also keep tidy and neat
   common use places like: kitchen, lounge, shower room, restroom and laundry. 

 square1 Remarks

  * Users Office will issue a warning on the first of the following month to those who failed their
   payments. Please note, in accordance to the present regulation, KEK dormitory fee should be paid
   prior to or during occupation of the room. 
  * If you fail to pay the dormitory fee for two months after the warning was issued, Users Office will
   send you a letter of reprimend with imposed interests. 
  * If you do not comply with the request within a month, your future stay in the dormitory will be
