  This Users Page is for those coming to KEK for researches, conferences and meetings. You are
  generally required to complete User Registration to do anything. (If you have done this already,
  please log in above box.) We will send you your user ID after the User Registration is completed.
  After that, you may make a reservation for the dormitory and request for travel expenses from KEK
  (if applicable) through your portal site.

 square_cha Observance of rules for those coming to KEK for researches/experiments

 1.   You are required to observe the rules and relevant laws and regulations issued by KEK and to
follow instructions for management and safety issued by the Director General and other
responsible officials.
 2.   You are required to comply with the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act and other relevant
laws of Japan. You must carry out the necessary procedures when take goods and materials from KEK outside of Japan, when you send technical information from KEK outside of Japan and
when you provide the technical information from KEK to those who are stated as nonresidents in the Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Act.This includes cases of transmission via a third party.
 3.   You must ensure safety when you do a radiologic work, a dangerous work, handle high pressure gases or chemicals, or operate a crane, truck or special motor vehicle. You must obtain the appropriate license or qualification, or prior approval from the responsible official.
 4.   Any experiment (research) may be suspended if a serious accident occurs or threatens to occur because of failure to follow the rules, or if any of the above requirements are violated. (Suspension of radiologic work is included.)
 5.   You are required to pay damages for facilities or equipment of KEK damaged intentionally or by gross negligence. (KEK is not responsible for the accident which should blame to users or researchers.)You are responsible for the reparation of an injury or accident sustained on the KEK's premises.
 6.   Those who work on the experiment (research) are required to take out casualty insurance against unforeseen accidents. As to the graduate students, only those who stated that they have taken out casualty and liability insurance are allowed to work on it; this does not request the submission of some evidence.
 7.   Other than the above, you must observe the regulations of each experiment facility or research center.


 square_cha Procedures for visitors

 Proposed KEK Research Program will be accepted only after the Program Advisory Committee and
 Advisory Committee approve it (Applying for a Research Program on the left).
 

 square_cha Purpose of your visit is:

  1.   Prelated to Photon Factory, Large Scale Simulation Program related to TRIAC related to J-PARC
related to B-factory, Project Researches of INPS
(ATLAS experiment, International Linear Collider Project, ZEUS experiment, Numerical Analysis
etc.)
  2.   Attending a conference, meeting, workshop etc.
