There are three ways to go to the J-PARK. Take a J-PARC bus or take the train & bus/Taxi or by car.
KEK service J-PARC bus between KEK and J-PARC. Service only on weekdays (No service on weekends and National holidays) < Timetable & Bus stop map is here. ![]() When you get on KEK Shuttle bus, Please write your name and affilition on a list in the bus, and show your personal ID such as passprot, driver's license to a driver. You must get off the bus at Tokai Bldg. #1 and receive your User ID card at J-PARC Users Office before entering the JAEA/J-PARC site. You can reach the main entrance of JAEA/J-PARC by bicycle (Takes approximately about 1-2min.), on foot (Takes apparoximately 1-2min.) or by Taxi from Tokai Bldg. #1 When you go back to the KEK Tsukuba/Tsukuba Center, Please return the User ID card to J-PARC Users Office, then get on the KEK Shuttle bus from KEK Tokai Bldg. #1. There is a method to reach by limited express and local train from Tsuchiura Station. Tsuchiura Sta.―(55 min.)― Mito Sta.―(15 min) ― Tokai Sta. fare 1,170yen Some Limited express train doesn’t stop at Tokai station. you have to change a local train at Mito
You can take a bus from Tokai Station to J-PARC from April 1st. Name of bus stop is "Genken-mae"。
Get on a taxi from east of JR Tokai station to JAEA main gate, distance about 3km, 10 min. |
