The FY2020 Applied Research Laboratory Technology Exchange Meeting was held remotely via Zoom on February 17, 2021.
After the opening address by Director Sasaki, four people gave presentations: Sari Kaneko from the Computing Research Center, Shin-ichi Takahara from the Radiation Science Center, Naoto Takahashi from the Cryogenics Science Center, and Toshikazu Takatomi from the Mechanical Engineering Center.
This presentation was held completely remotely to prevent the spread of the new coronavirus.  The title of the presentation were the online application for use of the KEK Computing Research Center, updates and operations of the radiation control area access control system, operations and equipment of the Cryogenics Science Center, and development of a normal conduction accelerator tube.  The content was interesting and reflected the work of each center. In order to avoid crowding, only the organizers and presenters gathered in the Seminar Hall in Building 4, and participants connected via Zoom, which was the first attempt, but 43 people participated remotely.
This technical exchange meeting has been held every year since 2015 for the purpose of introducing the work of technical staff and technological development and exchange between centers, and this is the sixth time it has been held.
