A 90° bent chamber for the SRF Gun was manufactured at the request of the Accelerator Laboratory (Fig. 1). The Mechanical Engineering Center has two locations for welding, and we can handle welding objects from several meters to several millimeters. In this work, all materials are stainless steel (SUS304L), and pipes, flanges, and chamber parts are manufactured and assembled by welding. Figure 2 shows the pre-processing pipe and flange parts. The slanted cut of the pipe is not straight, but is processed into an arc with a radius of 168.5mm to fit the curved surface of the arc of the chamber body. The chamber body was cut out from a SUS block using a wire-cut electrical discharge machine (Fig. 3). Since the inside of the bent chamber is a vacuum in use, a leak check was performed during the welding process to ensure that the welding is done properly. Finally, arc-shaped plates were welded on both sides. The final leak check (Fig. 4) was performed and the product was completed.
