On September 24, 2022, an article titled "Japan's First Web Site" appeared in the "Walking in the Beginning" series in the "be" section of the Saturday edition of the Asahi Shimbun.　The article includes interviews with two former staff members of the Computing Research Center, Yoshiyuki Watase (Professor Emeritus at KEK) and Yohei Morita (currently at The Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology Graduate University). In addition, the Computing Research Center's large-scale data storage (tape library) system was introduced.
