The KEK Openhouse 2022 (https://www2.kek.jp/openhouse/2022/) was held on September 3 and 4. In accordance with KEK's official catchphrase, "Insight through Accelerators," the theme of this year's Openhouse was "What is Insight through Accelerators?" The online webcast was held on the 3rd. On the 4th, several tours were held at the Tsukuba campus. We will now introduce some of the topics from this openhouse that are relevant to the Applied Research Laboratory.

Prior to the openhouse, the second short video was released in a series called "What kind of world is the world as seen only through an accelerator?" (https://www2.kek.jp/openhouse/2022/blog/b02/). In it, Yuhei Ito, technical associate at the Mechanical Engineering Center, talks about the fun of materials processing.
