KEK had a booth at “Tsukuba Science Festival 2024”

KEK had a booth at Tsukuba Science Festival 2024 held at Tsukuba Capio on Nov. 9 and introduced our research activities through various programs.

The Cryogenic Science Center and the Mechanical Engineering Center (MEC) of the Advanced Research Laboratory gave some demonstrations of the superconducting coaster and the drop experiments in vacuum respectively, and many participants enjoyed our programs.
In addition, the 3D models of a protein related to H. pylori and Belle II detector manufactured by MEC were exhibited.
