Mechanical Engineering Center’s Masterpiece: Target Section of the Slow Positron Facility at the Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS)

This is the Target Section of the Slow Positron Facility at the Institute of Materials Structure Science (IMSS) at KEK. The target section was cut out from a tungsten thin film using wire cutting, followed by chemical polishing. Subsequently, annealing was conducted using an electron beam welding machine.
