-アモルファス合金の結晶化を利用した微細組織制御とナノ結晶軟磁性材料の磁気特性・応用-
今回の談話会・セミナーではファインメットの開発者吉沢氏に軟磁性材料の入門からナノ結晶材料の磁気特性・応用について講演していただきます。
Soft-magnetic nano-crystalline material, “Finemet”, which defied the common knowledge that the performance of soft magnet degrades with the crystal grain size smaller, established an innovation in electromagnetic device. It is used in these days in many applications such as automobiles, noise filters, electric power devices, and communication equipment. Especially, it is used for the magnetic cores of RF cavities in both J-PARC RCS and MR to achieve high RF voltage which cannot be generated by other magnetic materials. Finemet is a key to realize a compact 3 GeV RCS and to achieve high intensity beam operation. It is also used at CERN and other accelerator facilities in the world. In the seminar, we invite Dr. Yoshizawa, who discovered Finemet, to give an introductory talk on of soft magnetic materials and magnetic characteristics/applications of nano-crystalline materials.
