This section promotes the upgrade, development and standardization of the beamline end station including R&D of the experimental apparatus and methodology. The PF is now planning the upgrade of the PF and PF-AR rings, and is considering the next SR facility. In order to effectively and steadily proceed with this upgrade and next SR facility project, it is essential and urgent to improve the performance of the beamline end station and develop new experimental techniques. In particular, multi-beam experiments and wide-wavelength experiments are proposed as new keywords of the next SR facility project. To realize these next-generation state-of-the-art experiments, not only development of each experimental technique and methodology but collaboration and advanced fusion among experimental fields is absolutely essential. The candidate is expected to take a leading role in developing instrumentations common to PF beamline end stations and next-generation state-of-the-art experimental methods, in cooperation with the light-source-accelerator (KEK ACCL 6th) division staffs, as well as beamline scientists and engineers. The candidate is also expected to enhance domestic and international collaboration with other quantum beam facilities for R&D.
